User Guide

Quick Start Guidelines - How to Operate Your Leisurecraft Starlight Wood-Fired Hot Tub:

  1. Fill the hot tub with water using a hose or natural water source.
  2. Build a fire in the firebox:
    • Use crumpled paper, kindling, and small dry logs.
    • Add larger pieces of firewood once the fire is established.
  3. Control the fire with the lid (dampener) to regulate air intake.
  4. Monitor the water temperature:
    • Stop adding wood once it’s 10°F below your desired bathing temperature (101-104°F).
    • Put the lid on and let the temperature rise on its own.
  5. Maintain the fire to keep the desired water temperature during use.

Tips for Optimal Use:

  • Always fill the tub with water before lighting the fire.
  • Use very dry wood for faster heating.
  • To cool overheated water, add cold water and stir with a paddle.
  • Use a cover to reduce heat loss when not in use.

Safety Reminders:

  • Never operate the wood heater without water in the tub.
  • Supervise children at all times.
  • Be cautious around the firebox and chimney, as they get hot
